Astrology is an excellent tool for insight into our personalities as well as a blueprint for our lives. It is a form of pattern recognition. The appreciation of these patterns can give us a more holistic theory of life. Astrologers are craftspeople using the planetary cycles against the backdrop of the stars to interpret a symbolic language. This language is made of starlight. These lights whisper secrets and reveal information about how we see the world around us.
I have been a professional astrologer since 1980, beginning my studies in 1974 while attending university in Canada. During this time I also took ESP development classes and TM meditation which enhanced my intuitive awareness. After receiving my BA, and a move to the Detroit area, I attended many classes and workshops in astrology. Serving on the board of directors of M.A.R.S. and A.R.C. added to my experience. I also taught extended community college classes and produced a weekly cable TV astrology show.
Since my marriage to Arch Crawford and moving to Manhattan I did many charts for Wall Street traders and brokers focusing on psychological issues and timing related to personal business cycles. I also wrote a weekly column for Bloomberg News in the form of a weekly business horoscope.
I am currently a member of T.A.G., I.S.A.R., N.C.G.R and A.F.A.N. My new book Timing and Transits in Business Astrology will be published in late 2009. I have been featured in the New York Times, Forbes, Business Week and with husband Arch on The Wall Street Journal Report. I am also listed in Sydney Omarr’s The Astrology Hall of Fame.
